When Aaron and Hannah planned their wedding in the Santa Cruz Mountains, they dreamed of a sunny and clear day. However, Mother Nature had other plans. Despite the weather, their wedding was nothing short of magical, and their love shone through every photo.
The couple had chosen Waterfall Lodge in the Santa Cruz Mountains for their wedding venue because of its natural beauty and stunning landscapes. Even in the rain, the mountains were breathtaking, with the misty clouds adding an ethereal touch to the scenery.
As the rain poured down, we ventured out for the first look covered by the tree canopy and clear umbrellas. As if on queue, the weather cleared just in time for Hannah and Aaron to exchange their vows surrounded by their closest friends and family. The intimate setting and ambiance created a romantic atmosphere that made the rain seem like an afterthought.
The rain had transformed the mountains into a lush and verdant paradise, with vibrant colors and soft lighting. After another portrait session, we headed to the reception which was held on a covered patio, with twinkle lights and candles adding a warm glow to the space. The rain tapping on the roof provided a relaxing and cozy ambiance that made everyone feel at home. The couple danced their first dance as newlyweds, surrounded by the people they loved most.
In the end, Aaron and Hannah's wedding was a beautiful testament to the power of love. Even in the rain, their love shone through, and their wedding was a day they would cherish forever.
A huge shoutout to all the vendors that made this day so special. Atlas Design Studio, Naomi, Amy West Floral, Holly Jackson Events, Heart of Gold DJ's and Purdy Faces.
